How can I care for my products?

Find our recommendations below. Please note you should always be cautious when dealing with handmade goods.

Organic Rugs:

Machine wash on cold. Lay flat to dry. Do not tumble dry. Please see care label on bottom of rug for more info.

Silk Cushions:

Dry cleaning is advisable for our pure silk cushions. Or hand wash using lukewarm water and gentle kneading. Use a good neutral soap or light detergent. Iron on a low temperature. When storing silk, wrap with brown paper or a white cotton sheet to protect the fabric from moths, dust and moisture.

How should I take care of my rug?

We suggest that you follow these simple steps so that your rug stands the test of time in your home.

  1. The flat weave rugs are double sided, so you can turn it over every few months to ensure even wear.

  2. Every so often take your rug outside and give it a good shake and beat it with your hands to get rid of any excess dirt.

  3. Vacuum your rug once a week.

  4. If you spill something on the rug then try and tend to it immediately. Using a clean white cloth, dampen the stained area with room temp water. Leave the area damp and blot it to draw out the stain. If the stain persists then try it on a cold cycle in the washing machine, and a dry cleaner if all else fails.

Can I customise a rug by size or colour?

You can certainly ask the question - we will do our best to make it happen! If you want a custom sized rug made, then let us know your requirements and we can provide you with a quote. Please note that production will take around twelve weeks and these items are non returnable.

What kind of insert comes with my cushion?

Our cushion inners are individually made in a workshop in Sussex by a team of skilled seamstresses and craftsmen. The inners are 80% feather / 20% duck down which have been ethically sourced and are RDS certified. This achieves a medium soft feel. Plump up your cushions every day to keep them looking great.
